So it’s been a minute since I’ve made a Remembering Jax post on the Blog. Don’t think that means we’ve forgotten about the big homie over here.
Going through some files I found this picture above, and I realized that I had never posted it. This picture is from Jax’s wake held in Atlanta last November. It’s very RARE that you see all these people in this pic at the same time in the same place. I’m glad I got a chance to document it, but still a lil sad that the only time we really get together is when someone passes.
So 2 nights ago me and the homie Flux were going through some music, and he let me hear a lot of the joints Jax was working on, or had already finished that the world has never heard. Including a song that me and him recorded about a week prior to him passing. It just made me realize how CRAZY his work ethic was. Everytime I hear his voice, I just think damn, I’m not doing enough, I need to get busy.
Last night Flux was cruising threw Grandgood and found a post entitled “Comming crimes to write rhymes” with a picture of Jax below the headline. Shout out to G, it’s good to know I’m not the only Blog that still deems it necessary to post Jax’s music and keep his name alive whenever possible. So what all that said, G uploaded the song via Z Share, so I figured I would share it with you guys. The song is called “Real Deal” and it’s taken from Jax’s “JFK” solo album Circa 2000. If you don’t have it, you should hit I Tunes and do your self a favor. Classic Material.
