After two years of circulating its fashions privately within the entertainment community, R Max Clothing introduces its independent line of designer apparel to the public.

Created by artist Russell Maxwell, R Max Clothing features a signature line of t-shirts that incorporates pieces of art to form fashionable items for the Sophisticated Urban male and female.

 “Artistically influenced by Andy Warhol,
Jean-Micheal Basquiat, Hype Williams, and numerous photographers, I wanted to create something that represents
a sense of urban expression and lifestyle,”
states R Max.

Each article of clothing displays an original design with hand painted accents and adorned with rhinestones.

R Max Clothing has received recognition on television and the big screen. Pieces from the line have appeared in the film, ’Stomp The Yard’, and on BET’s ‘106 & Park’ & ‘Spring Bling’ and MTV’s ‘Wild ‘n’ Out’.

R Max Clothing has appeared in several music videos including Yung Joc’s ‘I’m a G’, Big Boi’s (OutKast) ‘Kryptonite’ & ‘Morris Brown’ and Gorilla Zoe’s ’Hood Figga’ & ‘Juicebox’. The line has also graced the pages of national publications such as Scratch and XXL magazines.

In addition to the original and ‘X’ lines, custom designs have been created for video director, Dr. Teeth; music artists Jay Z, Puffy, 50 Cent, Killer Mike, Flava Flav, and Janet Jackson; and for Radio One Morning Show hosts across the nation.

R Max Clothing is available in a wide range of sizes for both men and women and is being made available at high-end retailers.
