Its good to see he isnt salty about it. If i had an album as dope as that i wouldnt be too worried about people coming out to support it either. I will deinately be copping the album when it drops on July 15th. For all of the doubters out there… give the album a listen(when it drops) and see if your opinion doesnt change….

After HEAVY negotiation, the Seattle Supersonics have agreed to move the team to Oklahoma City. (OKLAHOMA CITY?!?) The Supersonics were the oldest sports franchise in the city of Seattle winning the NBA Championship in 1979 under former Hawks coach and the All-Time Winningist coach Lenny Wilkens. Gary Payton led the Supersonincs in games, points, assists, etc. Seattle is still elegible for a NBA Team but they must fund for a state of the art arena. (Key Arena is TOO OLD for a NBA team). This is a major blow for the Seattle but they still have the Seahawks. I’ve never been to Seattle but it looks pretty boring to me! (LOL)

Court orders YouTube to give Viacom video logs
Dismissing privacy concerns, a federal judge overseeing a $1 billion copyright-infringement lawsuit against YouTube has ordered the popular online video-sharing service to disclose who watches which video clips and when.
U.S. District Judge Louis L. Stanton authorized full access to the YouTube logs after Viacom Inc. and other copyright holders argued that they needed the data to show whether their copyright-protected videos are more heavily watched than amateur clips.
The data would not be publicly released but disclosed only to the plaintiffs, and it would include less specific identifiers than a user’s real name or e-mail address.
Lawyers for Google Inc., which owns YouTube, said producing 12 terabytes of data—equivalent to the text of roughly 12 million books—would be expensive, time-consuming and a threat to users’ privacy.
The database includes information on when each video gets played, which can be used to determine how often a clip is viewed. Attached to each entry is each viewer’s unique login ID and the Internet Protocol, or IP, address for that viewer’s computer.
Stanton ruled this week that the plaintiffs had a legitimate need for the information and that the privacy concerns are speculative.
Looks like you wont be the only one that knows you are watching amatuer booty shakin videos and hood street fights on youtube in the wee hours of the night anymore. ![]()

The New York Mets were fresh off a win defeating the St. Louis Cardnials 7-4 on Tuesday night. Wednesday night would be different for the Mets. Rookie Picther Carlos Muniz provided the game-winning pitch that would give Troy Glaus his 13th home run of the season. The New York Mets are now 7-8 since the firing of Willie Randoplh and they are third in the NL East. The series is tied 1-1 between the Mets and the Cardnials and they play tonight in St. Louis.

What’s good world, as you can see I’m diggin this blog stuff. Good looks to Kaos and Chicagorilla for allowing me to let me give my two cents. There’s been alotta current discussion about the DJ game and how we died, etc. Well on Monday I had a very good and interesting conversation with Jermaine Dupri. And his point was simple, we all need to help each other or we will all be out of a job. Well to do my job in the each one teach one fashion, here’s a list of 10 things I think a new dj should do to get it poppin. They are not the only things that they could do but a short list of what I feel is important.
1-Know your craft: Truley understand what it is that a dj does, know and be able to perform the basics (mixing, blending, cutting, mic game, music knowledge). There are to many djs out there that don’t know the craft, just cuz you have an ipod don’t make yo ass a dj.
2-Find a young, up and coming promoter and become his dj: One of the best things I did for my career was rock with AG from day one. Rocking with one particular promoter creates consistency and it allows for an audience to follow you.
3-Study the past: If you can find old Sugar Hill records - study them. Those were old party records that can teach you mic game. If yer lucky you should look for Kid Capris old school pt. 2, the best mixtape I ever heard. It gives you a step by step tutorial on how to roc the mic and cut and scratch at the same time.
4-Market and promote: Find a unique way to separate yer self from the pack of wack dj’s. Trust me promoters act like they can’t tell the difference. But if you consistency put your name out there, someone will notice.
5-Play your position: If you are new to the market there’s no way that you should be headlining. What I did in the beginning was I made sure I opened up for all the big name dj’s. (Searcy, flex, kid capri, lil jon, sol messiah, dose). That way I was in the right place learning from the right person.
Ok, so I said ill give you 10 tips… I lied sorta. I gotta keep yall suckas interested don’t I?
Next week I’m going to have my list of the 10 most underrated DJ’s… sounds interesting don’t it… if you have an idea who you think should go on that list leave me a message on My Space.

Is it just me, or does Devante look like Wale?
Its summer time, and the courts are packed across the country. I was just on the Basketball court a lil earlier shooting around a lil something. I didn’t go out like dude in this video though. If you’ve experienced this you can always call 1-877- Dunkd- On. LOL
This is the first Nike Hyperdunk commercial. It has been created by Wieden + Kennedy and is definitely fun to watch. Check it out here below.

I missed a few of the other opening acts. But I caught Algebra’s set and was just in time to catch Anthony David do what he does best.
I missed some of the show I was distracted by the cute young lady playing the keys. Introduce a brotha Tony!
Place was packed.

Hey what’s going on people.
If you’ve been paying attention to the Blog, you know we were big supporters of New Era, and the Atlanta New Era Flagship Store. Since last year I’ve crowned myself the “New Era King of ATL.” Yeah I went there Lol. We also have been supporting the store since its grand opening last fall and have helped to drive traffic to the store threw some of the events we conducted with EA Sports as well as word of mouth. In return they were a big supporter of our one year anniversary and gave us a few giveaways for the site as well. All of things were executed threw the store manager not threw a corporate rep who is an outsider to the community.
Anyway earlier today I was talking to one of the big homies about what’s been going on at the Atlanta New Era Flagship Store. For that don’t know about a month or so ago I found out the manager since the stores opening was let go, along with another employee. Since that happen I’ve only been threw the store once.
The store itself has barely been open one year, and have been still trying to find their place in the community. I feel the staff at the store have been doing a great job interacting with the community, and doing what they can do the help build the brand in Atlanta since opening.
Then today I find out one of the last employees out the original staff was let go as well. For the past month the store has been trying to re-place the manager, for a while they even had the New York store manager out here working. As far as I know of today July 1st they still haven’t found anybody to fill the position.
Now heres my thing. By letting all the employees go who have built your name in the market in the past months is not a good look.
People were just start to get comfortable with the staff, learning more about who they were as people, and their position, etc. To fire these ambassadors makes the brand loose a lot of credibility in Atlanta.
These people have been let go and replaced (or have tried to be replaced) by not as friendly, not as warm/receptive employees.
Now I’m not only making this post from my point of few, but I speak for a lot of brothas in ATL right now when I say, you guys are in trouble. And until you get some people in the store (or bring the people back who you fired), your going to see the traffic slow down. Atlanta is the south things are very community oriented here (not only here, but a lot of places as well) and people like to have some sort of connection to the people their buying good and products from.
Without that, what’s to stop people from trooping down to Walters (shout out to Sean) or even too Lids, Hat Shack, Etc to buy their fitteds.
I made this post not to diss the brand, but just to shed some light on the situation.
Also on the other hand… I just went to pick up the new limited edition Konsole Kingz Fitted Hat. (Told ya’ll Im the Champ). Check out some pics of it below (Shout out to CJ). You probably wont be able to find one for yourself. So feel free to bask in the pictures! (just joking). Also check out the You Tube Video as well. New Era, your store is in trouble in Atlanta, and I’d hate to see it close and it get blammed on the city. We’ve seen that happen with other stores when they try to open a spot in the A. Let me know what you think…
